Spice up your mornings with The Morning Rush from Monday to Friday, 6-10am, and every last Saturday of the month, 6-9am, on Monster Radio RX 93.1!
☼ The radio program was first aired on Monster Radio RX93.1 in 1996, was moved to 93.9 KCFM in 1999, and then back to RX in 2002.
☼ Chico and Delamar became a tandem since July 8, 1996 where Chico was already a DJ in RX and Delamar, as a newscaster.
☼ When they started, the two often fought on air, and these were "real fights". They were very surprised when their ratings soared.
☼ Way back on The Morning Rush, there was Good Morning Manila, The Morning Chat, The Wake-up Call, and Thoughts for the Day.
☼ In 2005, Brad Turvey and Sarah joined the radio program. Brad Turvey, joins every Monday and Wednesday while Sarah joins in between those days. In 2007, they were joined by Karen.
☼ Monster Radio RX 93.1 was voted Best Radio Station by the readers of the Philippine Daily Inquirer's 2BU! section five years in a row (2002 - 2006). Chico and Delamar were voted Best Radio DJs in all five years.
☼ At the 17th KBP Golden Dove Awards in 2008, Chico Garcia won the "Best Games/Variety Program Host" award and Delamar won the "Best Music Radio Jock" award. Delamar, together with a KBP representative, was the one who announced the winner for these two categories!
☼ Rusher - an avid listener/follower of The Morning Rush...a "silent Rusher", the one who prefers to only listen to the program; an "active Rusher", the one who joins the program by sending entries for the Top 10 (formerly Hot 10) and/or even suggests a topic for the Top 10.
☼ Because of technological advances, messages, greetings and entries for the Top 10 can now be sent as text messages. The usual format: type in RX(space)your message/greeting/Top 10 entry with your preferred codename then send it to 2299 OR if they are using the other text line: type in your message/greeting/Top 10 entry and codename then send it to 29761931 (kindly limit your text message to 160 characters only if you're using this text line). Also, The Morning Rush is now on Twitter! You can send your messages/greetings/Top 10 entries using the Twitter account: http://twitter.com/rxtmr (you need to have a Twitter account to be able to do this).Way, way before, entries were sent using pagers or by calling their hotline (02) 6319393.
☼ Last, but definitely not the least, Chico and Delamar are simply the BEST DJs of all time, period.

tnx po...ive been a silent rusher since these two started...but now i wish i can still listen to them,unfortunately since ive been working my heart out abroad,all i can do is visit chico's blog for the unforgettable top 10's, i know it made me laughed when i heard it before but surely still do!!!i miss you guys!

i've been a silent rusher since high school (1996). really love c and d.. chico, i would like to ask permission if i can email your posts here, the top 10 and forward it to my friends.. but of course, i will not take the credit, i also want them to listen to you guys every morning.. if it's okay with you?

nice to be a part of this forum. wish my wife would give me more internet time so i could stay here and chat. i just want you to know that i am one of those silent avid listeners of yours. i just dont have much luck to contact you guys. every morning back in college you would make me laugh and i was so happy also that you have influenced me in a lot of ways. the wisdoms i got from you and the sickest joke that made me look like a fool inside my car. it was always fun to listen to both of you. now i am an instructor in school where i graduated and i told my class to always listen to both of you and the rest of the RX program so they would get alot of useful facts and infos that would make them smart and anrticulate. i just feeel like i got even smarter ever since i started listening to your program that is whay i told them to tune their radio only to rx. i am not a morning person but whenever i use to go out early morning i make sure that i have you guys in my background. my wife loves you both now, you kinda set our moods in the morning. thank you so much guys and i hope that you would touch more people and make them happy. and to the rest of RX Jocks, to RO-RO Duo - the version of most love songs today was really fantastic. long live and stay cool! love you guys! wewen mingleboy
